The Bedtime Routine is Working
I just walked into my bedroom. The lights were out. Michael lay conked out on the bed, soundly sleeping. Zoe lay quietly, peaceful on his chest, wrapped in her cozy blanket, cuddling her little bear... playing with his ipod.

that's so funny! Every night Eli asks me to lay down in bed with him. Other than the fact that I can't fit comfortably in his bed, I also know that I'LL be the one dozing and he'll be pulling up my eyelids and poking my cheeks. So, poor guy, he doesn't get bedtime snuggles with Mommy unless it's the middle of the night and I'm unwilling to let him sleep with us.
I love it!
