When I was a kid we had a dogwood in the backyard. It was grafted so it was part white and part pink. I miss it!

Beautiful! Next year, I want you to take pics of our crabapple tree...
The best thing about Evansville is all the flowering trees each April. We have a bradford pear, a dogwood, and a crabapple. They all look amazing when in bloom.

ooo...i want a pretty flowering tree, instead of a dead basil plant that has only one leaf still hanging on...if only I had a green thumb. curses.

thank you for clarifying what kind of tree that is...since i told you i have to have one some day i have seen about a million of them here in PA, but other than asking Jared a thousand times what he thinks it is, i hadn't looked into it! Now i have a name for what i must have when i go to a nursery! I'm sure they don't appreciate..."i want a specific tree with pretty flowers...you know...white flowers!" :)
