Jed, as proud as can be, because he just pulled himself up in the bathtub, all the way up standing by himself for the first time.
Baby's got new "skillz."
Playin' it cool for Mom. After the first standing up, he fell down on his bum and proceeded to repeat the process about 25 times until he nearly fell asleep half draped over the bath. What excitement!
This particular attempt was, well, "less successful." Notice the wet forehead and reddened eye, yet the steely look of determination.

What great pics! Is there pressure taking pictures of your family as a bona fide photographer ("Vanessa, hold him down! Don't let him stand up yet! I don't have my hair light set!")? Or is it a result of unharried intuition since you have so much aesthetic in your soul?
I think more its an issue of sheer quantity. Somewhere in that batch of three hundred bath photos there's bound to be a good one. ;c) However, in this particular case there was a bit of Vanessa holding up because we REALLY wanted a photo of his first standing and the camera was downstairs! But key lights in the bath... probably not a good idea. ha ha - V
I can't get over how cute he is. I know you're a little far, but we need to get together and have a day-long play date sometime. I think he and Nola would get along really well.
