Freedom!

WE'RE DEBT FREEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!

We paid off our car yesterday. Hooray!

To celebrate, Jed and I cleaned the inside top to bottom. Then for FHE we all went for a deluxe car wash and wax. It's all ours! Forever!

Well probably for at least 13 more years. :) hee hee.

Time to start saving for the ol' mini-van. But boy is it nice to have that loan off our backs.

That is SOOO exciting!!! Congrats! What kind of car? I myself am living a fiercely frugal existence until I get my student loans paid off. The end is in sight though... haha.

Yay! Isn't it a great feeling not having any debt (besides your house)! Doug's Honda is 12 years old and we're hoping it doesn't need to be replaced anytime soon.

It is so nice to be debt free! We have owned one of our cars for 4 years we bought it in Nov 04 and our second car it took us 16 months to pay off, but you save so much in interest. We want to buy our next one in cash. And when my husband was layed off it was a hugh blessing to not have a payment over our heads! I am anti-debt completly, one can save so much more if they are!

Congrats to you and your family!

@ the Stanfill Moms -- We had good examples. Thanks, we love you!

@ Meg, Tasha, and Jodi -- we just paid off our "new" car, a 2003 Accord. Now, we actually own free and clear THREE cars. Michael's 1992 Honda Accord is still driving, miraculously, but barely. That's our "almost new" car. And we're hanging onto the old 1989 Volvo station wagon, which has trees growing out of the headlights, for the backup plan. And saving for a minivan/suv type for when baby 3 comes along (in time, certainly not in the near future!)

Greatest feeling ever! We just paid our hospital bill off and it was like complete freedom and we felt like such rebels because we don't owe anyone ANYTHING Bwahahahaha... I can just see Jed loving every second of cleaning that car!

Hooray for the Stanfill offspring! Way to go, Clark and Kelsie! And yes, Jed adores cleaning the car. I have to go turn off every button and bell in the front seat when we're done.
