Today we had all rain and gloom. Any moment it wasn't raining, it was fogging. So, out of bored nursing curiosity, I did a little research.
At this very moment, it is 93% humidity outside. That seems about right.
Last year, we got..... 53 inches of rain. Yes, that's right, FIFTY THREE. No wonder we have trees growing out of our car headlights.
To compare, last year in the Bitterroot Valley, MT, they had 7 inches.

I think the average yearly rainfall is in the 40s... The first year we lived hear we went over the average by TWENTY inches. There is a bit too much rain here! However, the trees are especially beautiful in the spring and fall so that almost makes up for it :) At least it hasn't been cold the past few days!!!
LOL, in Pelican we got over 300 inches of precipitation a year (20ish ft of that was snow). It's officially rainforest.
Here we get a lot less...but still more than you i'm guessing. I do love living on the ocean. :)
